Packing up and moving out for a new season of life. Again.
Well, I’m saying see you later to life by the beach. Again. Yeah, it’s a little surreal; I’m not very pumped about where we’re moving, and I’m in denial. But hey, that’s life, and thankfully I tend to find the good in anywhere we live. But this one hurts. Two moves in one year is hard on the soul.
So, this is a heads-up: my office/studio/messy nook will be all in boxes for a week or so as we move to a new state. If you a bandana (I have about 15 of each left), order asap. I’m not packing up my shipping stuff until Wednesday. Then I’m just going to close down the shop for a bit while I regroup.
I’m proud of the creations and a-ha moments that have come out of this latest messy nook, and we will see what happens next. It turns out, being away from sunny beach life tends to draw out some sweet inspiration and productivity, as heartbreaking as it is.
( pictured above are my last paintings done in FL = Some of my favorites.)
I had a bunch of plans and goals for life here in Florida, but I learned we were moving before I could really get the ball rolling. Maybe I’ll get the ball rolling in our new home; maybe I’ll just keep on keeping on.
Only time and paint will tell…
Don’t worry, I’m packing a box of shells from the shell store to paint, so I’ve got that covered.
Thanks so much for supporting my art (wherever it may be that I’m creating it,) wish me luck on this new season of life, and cheers to sweet memories of life by the beach.
Love,
Rebekah
