Hazy Blooms Bandanas

So, I was working on a design project for a client that involved bandanas and designing a bandana print. Well, after working on it, I had a major a-ha moment. Why don’t I try to make my own bandanas? Not a traditional design with paisleys and all that jazz, but one with my signature style, quirks, tendencies, and interests when it comes to art and design. Think: Beach vibes, messy handwriting, and a watercolor background. All hand-drawn or painted.

Boom.

Turned out that was a good thing to try.

They turned out to be pretty darn sweet. I’d say rad, but my son said I need to stop saying rad. But he probably won’t read this, so yeah. They’re rad.

Yes, they’re bandanas. But they’re not “just” bandanas. They’re art, and they’re also buttery soft, unique, and I’d like to think a badass accessory someone will rock for many, many years.

I was going to call one the flora and one the fauna, but the probability of me messing up with shipping when the titles are so similar is ridiculously high. So, Hazy Blooms (Floral theme in corals, red and orange hues) and Salty Fronds (Coconut/Palm trees theme in blues and greens) it is.

They’re 100% organic cotton, oh so versatile, and you can rock ’em dozens of ways: hair tie, bracelet, anklet, bag accessory, necklace, face mask/bib dealio, headband, hat accessory, etc. (Here’s 39 ways to wear one…just in your hair)

But most importantly is a special design with the mark of an artist. Definitely nothing stiff or mass-produced here, folks.

Fun times.

Ready, set, here’s a bunch more pics…
