Surf dates are my favorite kind of date. But really, any time when it’s just you and another person in the lineup it’s pretty heavenly.
Lots of blues, a shimmering glassy wave, and pops of color bring this one together, and the words say, “You and me and a date with the sea.”
It’s a fun one. Yay surf art.

I’ve always been a fan of those pictures of a large shell turned into a planter or vase, etc. Well, I took that idea and kicked it up a notch and reflected it. Turned out to be a rather fun piece to get lost in
This can be displayed in landscape or portrait, and there is no predetermined up or down. I painted it from all different angles, so feel free to display it however you like it best.
I walked by this surfboard rack in the jungle in Costa Rica, took dozens of pictures of it, and of course, had to paint it when I got back home. Every brushstroke, paint splatter, and color choice helps to recreate the serene, yet secret, gorgeousness of this spot. The waves nearby were pretty spectacular, too.

What’s up? I’m Rebekah, the artist and creative gal behind the sunshine-soaked world of Goldfish Kiss. I create art inspired by the ocean, my travels, and sunny moments life serves up. Watercolor is my jam, but I like to throw in some other creative shenanigans as well. I paint everything from a messy desk in the corner of a room, and It’s pretty darn amazing to see the pieces that have come out of this little space. I mean, art is a gift, but here are some cool accessories, books and stuff like that too.
Anytime I get to paddle out, it feels like a dream come true. This piece kind of embodies the surreal, euphoric state whenever that happens. (Even if this board was a beat-up rental board and the surf was flat that day.) I still remember the joy of paddling out on a gorgeous day in Waikiki. And how it feels like it’s jsut you and the ocean.
I lost this T-shirt on one of our moves. It was by Stoned Immaculate and said glide or die on it.
The writing in the background says, “Paddling out is a dream come true”
