I had a serendipitous memory from a summer surf trip in Costa Rica. I was lying alone on the beach after a surf, and a flock of macaws flew overhead. It was pure bliss, and I wanted to try and capture the feeling. The watercolor medium lets their colors dance freely against a soft sky, evoking some of that joy and freedom. Hope you feel it too.
