I wanted to do something for my smaller originals to make them feel more tangible and easier to connect with. So, I glued them to a wooden canvas and coated them with some resin.
It was a good choice. I love how they turned out.
Are they perfect? Nope. Nothing I do ever is. But they’re unique, and you can tell they were made by me.

“Hibiscus Belt”. One of the first paintings in my Babes In Leis series, which was a series that kind of got my ball rolling in finding the joy in watercolor. Painted in 2016 and sealed in 2026.
